The idea of forming a Group Housing Society was conceived at Krishi Bhavan, and accordingly, Krishi Cooperative Group Housing Society Ltd. was registered in 1979. The Society mobilized its resources in a very short period and applied for allotment to the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in 1981. After the allotment of flats to the members, the Society continuously worked towards developing a healthy living environment with a special emphasis on greenery and infrastructure. Over the decades, the environmental atmosphere has significantly improved through well-planned landscaping of lawns, development of a nursery, flower beds, hanging flower baskets, and other beautification initiatives. As a result, the Society received cash awards for environmental improvement from DCHGC, New Delhi for three consecutive years.

To ensure the safety of residents, the Society has also upgraded security systems from time to time, including installation of modern CCTV surveillance, boom barriers, and other security enhancements.
Krishi Apartments continues to maintain a peaceful, green, and resident-friendly environment, reflecting the collective efforts and cooperation of its members and management over the years.
